Voter Sentiment Strong For Daggett, Bad for Christie and Corzine

The folks over at Sentimatrix have created an Artificial Intelligence Data mining algorithm that harvests all of the echos across the blogosphere it all of its Web 2.0 social media sprouts. And Chris Daggett is the only candidate in the NJ Gubernatorial Race that voters have positive sentiment for.

The complex algorithm then calculates how voters are feeling toward the top three candidates for Governor Independent Candidate Chris Dagget, Republican challenger Christopher Christie and Incumbent Democratic Governor Jon Corzine.

Asbury Park Press Gives Negative Endorsement of Christie

If you have read the NY Times of the Philadelphia Inquirer endorsement of Jon Corzine you have seen the negative, anything but the other guy endorsement.

But just when you think an newspaper endorsement can’t be any more less supportive of their candidate, today the Asbury Park Press endorsed Chris Christie with an endorsement even worse then the Times and Inquirer endorsments.

Christie has run a disappointing campaign. He has made himself vulnerable on a number of ethics-related issues. He has provided no specific plan for property tax relief. He says he will balance the budget with a projected $8 billion to $10 billion deficit next year while reducing income taxes, corporate taxes and estate taxes. We’re highly skeptical of his ability to do so.

Christie has run a poor campaign. He has failed to tap into the deep dissatisfaction with New Jersey’s sky-high property taxes by offering a coherent plan to address the problem. Voters are disenchanted with Corzine and Christie. But that shouldn’t obscure the sharp philosophical differences between the two. Daggett says Democrats and Republicans alike are responsible for the state’s troubles. There is some truth to that. But for the past eight years, the blame rests squarely with the Democrats.

Instead of telling us why we should vote for Christie, the majority of the endorsement focuses on why we shouldn’t vote for Corzine. Well if you live in NJ then you already new that, we don’t need newspaper to tell us that.

Daggett still wins the newspaper endorsement count, with NJ newspapers Daggett 16, Christie 3 and Corzine 1.

Further, the newspapers endorsing Christie and Corzine give us nothing more than our candidate sucks but the other guy is worse.

The endorsement even cites a review of Daggett’s tax plan by a republican politician, totally ignoring the Associated Press independent economists review of the candidates tax plans that says Daggett’s plan is the best and contradicts the statements in the Asbury Park Press endorsement.

Some one should also tell them that by creating a huge budget deficit, Christie will be forced to raise taxes.

In typical GOP fashion, the endorsement continues to spread the fear mongering a vote for Daggett is a vote for Corzine and the GOP lies that Daggett’s plan will raise taxes. I am surprised they didn’t come right out a call Chris Daggett a racist like 101.5 fm.

Vote Daggett!! Say no more to politics as usual. Break the Cycle.
